C.J. Tyree, Partner, Taft-Mills Group

C.J. Tyree is a Partner in Taft-Mills Group. C.J. has over twenty years of experience in the real estate industry including roles in real estate finance, commercial development, and multi-family development. His experience in affordable housing spans over ten years and includes development of new construction projects, adaptive reuse projects, and substantial rehabilitation projects. Financing for these projects have come through 9% and 4% tax credits, conventional debt, FHA debt, and equity placement.

Prior to joining Taft-Mills Group, C.J. worked in finance and development roles for two major affordable housing development firms. C.J. received both his BSBA in Finance and an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. He served on both the Charter Review Commission and Planning Commission in Avon Lake, OH before relocating to the Raleigh area in 2018.
